It is that time of year to register your student(s) for the Back 2 School Bash! With the new calendar, it will be taking place a bit earlier this summer on July 13. This wonderful community event is made possible by local churches, businesses, and community members and helps our students start the school year off right with new shoes, school supplies and a day of fun! Oh, did we mention it is free? If you would like to signup or volunteer to help with the Bash '19, please go to www.B2SB.org. Thank you!
With the 2018 - 2019 school year coming to a close, we wanted to share information about summer feeding sites where our community's children can access breakfast and lunches while school is not in session. Thank you!
Please note this important schedule change for this Friday, May 10. As many of you are aware, one of our Mooresville Police Officers was killed in the line of duty this past weekend. His services will be held this Friday in Charlotte with a processional back to and through Mooresville following the services. We have been in contact with Iredell County Emergency Services, and they indicate that the processional will be made up of 2200 to 2500 emergency vehicles from across the country and be approximately 15 miles long. This processional will greatly affect traffic in the Mooresville area from approximately 1:00 until after 4:00pm. Due to bussing logistics and to show support for Officer Sheldon, we will need to release school early on Friday, May 10. Mooresville High School and Mooresville Middle School will release at 11:00am. Our elementary and intermediate schools will release at 12 noon. We apologize for the inconvenience this may cause our parents; however, we know you will understand considering the circumstances. Thank you.

This day is now designated as an optional teacher workday . Because of this change, Wednesday, May 8, 2019, will now be a full instructional day following a regular schedule.
