Sharing the Love: Love United Iredell 2026 ❤️
Hello MGSD Community,
Our schools are more than just places of learning; they are the heart of our community. This month, the Mooresville Graded School District is excited to participate in the Love United Iredell campaign, a community-wide effort to support local nonprofits that keep our community strong.
What is Love United Iredell?
It’s a month-long "blitz" focused on funding specific, high-impact projects. Unlike general fundraisers, 100% of these donations stay right here in our community to have an immediate impact in education, health, and financial stability.
Why Your Support Counts
By participating, our students learn the power of collective impact. Whether it’s $1 or $10 or a book or canned pet food, these contributions help ensure that local organizations have the tools they need to serve our neighbors throughout the rest of the year.
"Small acts, when multiplied by thousands of people, can transform the world."
If you choose to donate online, please remember to enter your student’s school or the Mooresville Graded School District where it asks if you are making a donation on behalf of an organization. We want to ensure our students get credit!
How our District is Participating
The Mooresville Graded School District has adopted five local agencies that have an impact on our schools and community. If you choose to donate:
Crosby Scholars of Iredell County - They are raising funds for a summer program called “Try It Tuesday” where high school students will get hands-on career exploration each week highlighting different fields. Iredell Council on Aging - Meals for Paws is a program that delivers pet food, emergency vet support, and pet supplies to older adults receiving home delivered meals. This project will allow seniors to care for their pets despite financial and transportation challenges. You can choose to help this organization in two ways:

Iredell County Partnership for Young Children - Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library mails free, high-quality books to children from birth to age 5, fostering early literacy and school readiness. Due to high demand, new enrollments in Iredell County have been paused. They are seeking to support 150 who previously enrolled.
